For Academic Health Center Students

The University of Minnesota is committed to providing equitable access to learning opportunities for all students. The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is the campus office that collaborates with students who have disabilities or medical conditions to provide and/or arrange reasonable accommodations.

Academic Health Center (AHC) students who have, or think they may have, a disability (e.g., mental health, attentional, learning, chronic health, sensory, or physical), are encouraged to visit our Get Started page to arrange a Gold consultation meeting.

The DRC Academic Health Center Liaisons have program specific knowledge and understand the unique demands of the curriculum and clinical requirements. They assist students with obtaining medical documentation of disability conditions and determining and implementing reasonable accommodations. The AHC Liaisons also provide students with information, referral, and consultation. All services are confidential and free.
